Duke City Repertory Theatre presents
Bard Crawl: King Lear

Serious actors. No director. One rehearsal. In a bar.  Since 2017, Duke City Repertory Theatre (DCRT) has been making Shakespeare converts out of Burqueños with their wild and imaginative Bard Crawl! If you’ve never seen a Bard Crawl, you’ve never seen theater the way William Shakespeare intended. Part play, part party, Bard Crawl brings the magic of live performance into Albuquerque’s breweries... and beyond. This October, DCRT will bring KING LEAR - Shakespeare’s classic story of family, devotion, deception, murder, and greed - to FUSION’s Rising High Arts Festival. Grab a beer, grab your cell phone, and come see theater like you’ve never seen it before at FUSION | 708 on Tuesday, October 15, at 7 PM!

TICKETS: All performances are Pay What It's Worth ($15 Suggested)

ABOUT DUKE CITY REPERTORY THEATRE

We are but warriors for the working day…

Duke City Repertory Theatre exists to serve its audience. Our goals are to create top-notch, bold theatre for our patrons, to put Albuquerque and NM on the map as a destination for theatre artists and patrons and to be the premier regional, professional theatre company in the Southwest.

Duke City Rep is a Latinx, Black, Queer company. By providing professional opportunities to artists of color and producing work by and about people from historically undervalued groups, we seek to engage more diverse communities and remove any perceived and real barriers to professional art our audiences may have. Our goal is to not only create art for the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico but to ensure that art reflects the vibrant and diverse community that supports us. Our theatre resides not in bricks and mortar, but in that which can be shared between human beings immersed in a created world.

Quality bar service provided by Safe House Distilling Co. and Teller Genuine Vodka.
